Wrestling Training

Gregory Gogonas is a graphic designer whose passion for the sport of wrestling comes directly from the mat. A former wrestler, he proudly infuses his own past experiences into his designs — as well into the advice he offers out on the mat for young athletes in youth sports organizations.
Before he ever picked up a stylus or opened a design program, Gregory Gogonas spent his time on the mat. A former wrestler himself, Gogonas knows what it means to grind through a training session, to feel the adrenaline under the lights and to dig deep when the match is on the line. He trained hard, competed with heart and stayed close to the sport even after his active years on the mat came to a close. That lived experience still informs how he shows up for the wrestling world today — not just as a fan, but as someone who gets it from the inside out.
Although his days spent on the mat as a wrestler may be behind him, his passion for the sport certainly has not faded away — not one bit! Gregory Gogonas continues to support wrestling training not only through his graphic designs and creative direction, but by also actively backing youth sports programs in a larger capacity. He has acted as a mentor, volunteer and supporter for various youth sports organizations and coaching initiatives over the years.
Gregory Gognas’s designs — whether it’s a team logo, tournament banner or athlete highlight graphic — are shaped by a firsthand understanding of the sport’s intensity, tradition and pride. Gogonas brings more than aesthetics to his collaborations with wrestling programs: he brings a shared language. He knows how to visually represent the grit of offseason training, the focus of a weigh-in and the swagger of a post-win moment.
Through his branding and creative direction, Graphic Designer Gregory Gogonas helps young wrestlers see themselves not just as athletes — but as part of a powerful legacy worth representing vibrantly.
